The wonderfully differing styles of three artists are on show at Open Space Galleries in August.

Jane Ansell captures the intimacy of the area around her studio near Penzance; her oil paintings take on a soft-focused photographic form providing a depth of field that gives an almost three dimensional feel to her work.

Anne Wallace's impressionistic paintings of flowers are vibrant and powerful with sweeping strokes and bold colours.

New to the gallery is Paul Bennett whose evocative slightly abstracted seascapes and extraordinary figurative work have a sense of both intimacy and tension.
